Abstract :
The IPTV services represents one of the main pillars in the development of Internet multimedia content sources worldwide and is the main driver of growth in Internet data traffic in terms of volume. In the last two years (2009-2010) we can see an explosive growth in the usage of ultra-mobile terminals having various sizes and operating systems: smartphones, tablets, Google Android, Apple iOS, Microsoft Windows Phone 7, etc. The solution proposed in section 3 is innovative, has not yet been implemented in the mainstream products and addresses the challenges posed by super-mobility factor in the complex context of providing high values for QoS/QoE parameters delivered to the customer. Basically this solution proposes that core network routers to make video content caching for quickly further delivery to users located in their proximity.
