Abstract :
Estimation of radio environments is a novel method for efficient management of spectrum resources in future wireless networks. It allows insight into the radio field, the interference and the possible geo-locations of various field transmitters. This paper compares three spatial interpolation techniques capable of estimating radio environments using a limited number of field measurements. Comparisons are conducted with extensive simulations for indoor and outdoor scenarios.
