Abstract :
Here, an improved solvothermal reduction for the formation of high-quality graphene is reported. Graphite oxide (GO) are prepared using a modified Hummers method form expandable graphite. Then, GO sheets are dispersed into the mixture of hydrazine and water in a sealed autoclave maintained at 180°C for 18h. X-ray diffraction (XRD) pattern of the prepared GO is compared with that of graphene obtained on solvothermal reduction. In addition to the above method, hydrothermal reduction at 180°C and hydrazine reduction at 95°C are also conducted.
