Abstract :
A logical controller design algorithm to simulate AC-to-AC power converters is presented. This algorithm models the switches as a controller that controls the topology of the load circuit. The controller characteristic is derived from the switching criteria of the converter circuit. Depending on which switches are “on” or “off”, the controller simply provides the appropriate input source to the load circuit. This algorithm is applied to simulate direct AC-to-AC converters. The simulation results based on the implementation of this algorithm are presented
