Abstract :
Oil fume was biodegraded in biofilter with green roof engineering as biological packing. The results showed that with biofilter culture forming biofilm for 10 days, inlet temperature at about 33°C, residence time longer than 25s, relative humidity 85%, VOCs concentration 1.0 mg·L-1, flow rate 3.35 m3·L-1, biodegradation efficiency of VOCs in oil fume reached over 90%, removal loading limit 0.30 g·(L·h)-1 while ΔP of biological packing kept below 2960 mmH2O·m-1.
