Abstract :
Multiple item inventory system with uncertain demands was considered in this paper, a probabilistic constraint was applied to multiple item (Q,R) ordering policy based on previous research on single period multiple item inventory system with linear constraints, and a heuristic algorithm was developed to improves warehouse and capital management. The results of the proposed approach show that over 20% of inventory cost s is saved compared with other methods for the same purpose without further resource consumption, the proposed approach is very effective and competitive.
