Abstract :
The principle of Radix-2 fast Fourier transform (FFT) arithmetic according to decimation in time (DIT), and the accomplishment algorithms using TMS320C54x fixed-point digital signal processing (DSP) are introduced in this paper. The problems and resolving methods, such as data-overflow, spectrum leakage, fence effect, etc. and implementation of Radix-2 FFT algorithms by using fixed-point DSP are discussed. Also an approach for optimal design with hardware framework, software flowchart and result of digital simulation are given.
