Abstract :
This paper introduces the conditions of design loads and service performance of pedestrian suspension bridges at home and abroad, carries on detailed investigations and analysis of twenty mountainous villages´ pedestrian suspension bridges in Guangyuan City of Sichuan Province, discusses design load standard value and load combinations, deflection-span ratio, dynamic characteristics etc. of the mountainous pedestrian suspension bridges, and puts forward references and suggestions for the design of mountainous villages´ pedestrian suspension bridges.
