Abstract :
This paper presents a new algorithm on packet sequence number reordering, lost motion vector restoration, and video frame bitstream boundary determination. Based on these techniques, a MPEG4 decoder with packet loss concealment functionality has been realized. Experimental results show that this scheme can improve the visual quality obviously for MPEG4 compressed video over wireless Internet network´s lack of lower layer QoS guarantee
