Abstract
We propose an advanced signal-driven sampling method that uses the level-crossing sampling technique based on the selected signal sampling and non-uniformly distributed quantization levels. The number of the quantization levels is chosen to compress the volume of sampled data. The proposed sampling method is targeting sporadic signals. The trade between the accuracy of the recovered signals and the compression ratio is evaluated.
