Abstract :
Steel slag is a kind of by-product from steel refining process in conversion furnace. This by-product can be regarded as a cementious material with low activity. The research was conducted to evaluate the particle characteristic of steel slag after using Calcium lignosulfonate as grinding aids, and establish the relationship between particle sizes and compress strength by grey relational analysis. The results showed that the particle size smaller than 30 μm of steel slag was the main activity powder, after using Calcium lignosulfonate, the particle size distribution of steel slag powder changed, the big size particle of steel slag was more easy to crush, and the structure of which inert phase such as RO phase and FeO grown across the cementious phase broken.
