Abstract :
Time-to-market durations are shrinking, straining the ability to perform thorough Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) tasks during product development. This paper suggests that collaboration is a more effective model than team-based approaches for successful R&M efforts in these situations. The paper describes how R&M software vendors and the R&M community can enhance collaboration to shorten product development times and enhance the quality of the product.
