Abstract
Recent improvements in implantable devices in medicine have increased the need for a wireless power delivery channel through human tissue. In this paper, we present a power transmission antenna concept inspired by the discharge of electric eels through water. This antenna concept is compared to the traditional electrode pair antenna and found to be capable of focusing electric energy to certain areas.
