Abstract :
The paper considers several spread problems, which take place in many microwave non-antenna devices (antenna feed lines, hybrids, filters, diplexers, LNAs, etc.) - parasitic radiation, “high-altitude” fields, crosstalk, grounding inefficiency. Near-field scanning has been used for their detection and then, for verification of their minimization. Some practical design rules have been discussed to avoid these problems in the multi-layer antenna arrays.
