Abstract :
Following a model that conceptualizes the function of technology infrastructures (TIs), a set of principles to define a public financing methodology for these institutions is proposed. The problem of public funding for technological innovation is analyzed in the context of industrial policy, considered as state intervention in the market with the aims of improving economic and social development. The specific issue of the financing of TI is integrated in the context of economic theory
