Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to present some tests and the obtained results for the creation of a baseline of PNNI (private network-network interface) values. The experimentation arose from the RiaXo project, which is intended to characterise PNNI at the WAN environment. After a brief presentation of the RiaXo project, the scenarios defined and the experiments performed to obtain this goal are presented. The analysis of the results, derived from experimentation, can supply directives for an improved testbed configuration to implement at the RiaXo environment and form a range of values useful for comparisons of LAN versus WAN
