Abstract
A programmable digital filter workstation is discussed that provides classical analysis and design tools for the electrical engineering student. Further, through the data acquisition system, the student can test the design on actual audio signals online. With the provision of this feature within a single workstation, the user receives instant feedback as to the quality of the digital filter design. Some examples of digital filter design and actual time responses are presented to illustrate the features of the workstation.<>
