Abstract :
In this paper, the real maximal robust stability radii are investigated for uncertain continuous-time symmetric commutable singular (SCS) systems described by dynamic equation. First, one structured uncertainty is defined; then we provide an explicit expression for the real maximal robust radii. Based on it, the problem is transformed into a special rank reduction problem that is the rank of the perturbed matrix remains the same. A simple formula is derived for the radii by using the matrix theory. Finally, an illustrative example is used to support the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
