Summary form only given. Calabazas Creek Research is developing a klystron for the upgrade of the RF system of the continuous electron beam accelerator facility (CEBAF) at the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility. The klystron is designed to produce 19 kW of saturated CW power at 1497 MHz with an efficiency of 59%. The design parameters are outlined in this paper.
