Abstract :
At first, the theoretical calculation formula of the flow amount through pipe section per unit time is given in the paper. Secondly, the engineering calculation formula of the flow amount through pipe section per unit time is deduced on this basis according to the method of Gauss-Legendre numerical integration. And then, the application of engineering calculation formula is introduced in combination with practical cases. It is taken as an example that four-path ultrasonic flow meter measures the flow amount in pipe. At last, the analysis of errors is given, which are produced when the flow amount is calculated according to the engineering calculation formula in the paper. The analysis results show that the engineering calculation formula can be used as a design basis for designing multi-path ultrasonic flow meter.
