The efficiency evaluation of logistics industry in provincial regions based on DEA model

This article expounds the principle and method of DEA model, and evaluates the relative efficiency of logistics industry of 31 provinces, cities and autonomous regions in 2010 based on DEA model. The results demonstrate that 8 statistics samples have achieved the relative efficiency of the input-and-output of the logistics industry, but the other 23 samples have not jet. Simultaneously, through the projective analysis, the article finds out the problems of the logistics industry in the non-efficient regions under the DEA model, and put forwards the corresponding suggestions to improve the problems, which provides good reference for the benignant development of the logistics industry.
