  • Abstract
Carbon-based nanostructures exhibit novel structural, electronic, magnetic and catalytic properties. In this talk, I will present a few results made in our group in this field including design mechanically robust tri-wing graphene nanoribbons and BN doping induced half-metals, hydrogenation induced structure transition from few layer graphene to diamond films, controlling cross section of carbon nanotubes via selective hydrogenation.
