  • Abstract
    This paper introduces Energy Management Embedded Software (EMES) designed for Energy Management Terminal (EMT), which is used in grids of distributed generations. An Energy Router controlled by the EMT acts as a central online control and monitor unit in micro-grids. It can acquire parameters of measuring points in the grid regularly. The Energy Router can also decide strategy for distributed generations to provide power to end users. The EMES is developed in embedded system based on ARM micro processors. The software is programmed by C++ with QT programming language for computation and GUI display. The EMES embedded in EMT for an Energy Router is used in one of the smart grid demonstration project and the system is running smoothly till now.
