            Abstract : 
This paper presents a credibility evaluation method based on interval type-2 fuzzy sets(IT2 FSs) for Parallel System. In the paper, by using the IT2 FSs, an evaluation model is built and the Parallel System credibility is Calculated. Taking parallel Public Transportation System as an example, the paper utilizes the IT2 FSs to evaluate the credibility of Parallel System. In the case, defines passengers average waiting time as a parameter, its calculated result reflects the credibility of Parallel System. Last, the evaluation results verify that the interval type-2 fuzzy sets can be used in credibility evaluation for Parallel System.
