Abstract :
This article describes the basic characteristics of wireless sensor networks, their architecture and areas of application, the requirements posed on the used operating systems and the opportunities that are provided to the user. The emphasis is on the implementation of LT codes in WSN, using Contiki OS environment, in order to provide reliable data transmission within user application. Furthermore, the results of performed simulations are presented.
