  • Abstract
    Dynamic replication schemes offer very high read and write operation availabilities by repeatedly modifying the configuration of the scheme as failure patterns dictate at run-time. In this paper we describe a dynamic replication scheme framework which automatically transforms specifications of static replication schemes into their dynamic counterpart. We apply the framework to a wide variety of replication schemes, thereby obtaining novel dynamic schemes which have not been analyzed or reported in literature before. The new dynamic replication schemes are compared and an outlook on future work is given
