Abstract :
Summary form only given. Over the last 20 years, the mini TWT is the low cost and reliable RF amplifier solution for both EW and industrial applications. This device produces 50 to 90 W output power over 6 to 18 GHz with compact package size. The desired output power of the mini TWT has now extended above the 100 W level. This paper presents the output power capability of the high power mini TWTs developed in CPI using mini tube technology and the use of these devices in mini tube transmitters.
