  • Abstract
    The model starts with a physical mechanism which allows a quantitative expression to be derived for discharge-generated damage. The stepwise production of breakdown channels is incorporated as a natural feature, allowing the factors that lead to tree-like growth to be investigated and assigned a physical origin. The influence of material and discharge properties has also been studied
