Abstract :
Ultrafast sub-ps resolution electro-optic (E-O) sampling system using ZnTe crystal and Ti:sapphire laser is described. 3.5 ps response of an ultrafast photodiode has been measured using the system. Differential detection and optical pulse reshaping by a grating pair are discussed for advanced design.
