  • Abstract
The paper studied an approach to purification of CS2 waste gas in low concentration using biological trickling filter. The results of preliminary experiment showed that, when the gas flow was 100-500mg/m3, the CS2 removal efficiency arrives percent 70-78% by using trickling filter, But the biological elimination of CS2 in waste gas could be increased from 2.06mg/(L h) to 22.52mg/(L h); meanwhile the gas flow was increased, the CS2 removal efficiency was declined from 74.5% to 37.1% The kinetic model of adsorption-biofilm theory had a good applicability for describing process of CS2 waste gas. The interrelation coefficient between experimental points and calculated points was very well.
