Abstract
Today, commercial architecture is not only as a simple shopping environment, also as the spirit place with deep cultural connotation, affecting people´s living and aesthetic orientation. The paper interprets Japanese contemporary commercial flagship store features and building surface character, analyses the concept of building behind the surface phenomena, summaries the useful experiences of Japanese contemporary commercial architecture design concepts and practice, then as the reference for our country architectural design.
