Abstract :
Based on the survey of college and university English teachers, this paper attempts to explore the interaction of the modern E-teaching and the teachers´ self-directed learning. The paper lightened the importance of the teachers´ self-directed learning and the aim is to promote the College English teachers´ professional development and to improve the teaching quality.
