British architect Richard Rogers as one of the founders in the "High Technology Group", its bold and striking design has been widely praised. Now, Rogers has been the main energy transfer from a simple architectural design to urban planning in the past, and became a city planning, sustainable development and an advocate of green building technologies. In this paper, Richard Rogers and representative works of modern urban planning and design, analysis of his "sustainable city" theory and the use of natural resources and improving urban quality of life of practical work. Richard Rogers on how the adoption of better design, to create a more compact city, reflect the harmonious relationship between society and the environment, create a more desirable form of urban life practice to conclude and summarize the results.
