Abstract :
A study was carried out to gain some insight into the change of distribution of CB (carbon black) in epoxy resin by means of dielectric properties of the composites. To get information about the distribution of conductive particles in the resin, two kinds of carbon black were used. Black Pearls 2000 showed lower resistivity than MA600 even if loading of the former was less than that of the latter. The composite made of CB and resin showed a dielectric relaxation in the frequency range from MHz to GHz. It was concluded that Black Pearls 2000 easily forms conduction paths with a smaller amount of branches than MA600
