  • Abstract
This paper covers new results on the subjects of thermal stability and performance data for high temperature Sm-Co magnets in PPM configurations. Based on several years of experiments and observations, these high temperature magnets are metallurgically stable at temperatures up to 550°C. Following initial thermal stabilization for two hours, these uncoated magnets, held at 300°C in air for more than three years, had losses of only 0.3%.
