Abstract :
Internet and World Wide Web foster the innovation of software. Networked software (or applications) has gradually been a promising form of Internet-based software, which would have a profound effect on human society. It is a hard task for software engineers to build rapid on-demand services of networked software in terms of personalized requirements. However, requirement evolution has received little attention, in marked contrast with requirement analysis and other research fields of requirement engineering. In this paper we proposed a RGPS (Role, Goal, Process and Service)-based framework for service-oriented requirement evolution of networked software, including its basic elements, a meta-model and some strategies. Although our work is at a formative stage, we have contributed a number of ideas that might help to advance our understanding of how to manage service-oriented requirement evolution in terms of aspects (or cross-cutting concerns).
