Abstract
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute´s efforts to forge links with industry are discussed. These links include industrially sponsored research and development projects, as well as encouraging new start-up companies through an Incubator program and the development of the Rensselaer Technology Park for more mature companies. Companies wishing to support R&D programs do so primarily through the activities associated with the Center for Industrial Innovation
