Academia linking with industry-the RPI model

Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute´s efforts to forge links with industry are discussed. These links include industrially sponsored research and development projects, as well as encouraging new start-up companies through an Incubator program and the development of the Rensselaer Technology Park for more mature companies.
