Abstract :
In order to employ fair user scheduling for multiuser multiple-input single-output (MISO) orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems, the channel state information belonging to all users is required at the base station. In order to reduce the feedback load which increases with the number of users, transmit antennas and subchannels, we perform subchannel selection for each user at the receiver side. In this paper, adaptive reduced feedback channels are examined for MISO-OFDMA systems while providing fairness between the users. For each user, we choose the subchannels according to their norm and orthogonality properties as well as users´ location in the cell. The performance results of the adaptive reduced feedback are evaluated by performing quantization in wireless channels.
