Abstract :
This paper proposes a new FDI strategy using high gain observers. The observer scheme is then applied to an induction motor for a performance study in the framework of a specific Fault Diagnosis Benchmark. The observer stability is proven. No linear approximation of the induction motor model is required. This new strategy includes an estimation of the fault vector amplitude.
