Abstract :
In this paper we present a dynamic spectrum management (DSM) Level-2 algorithm based on centralized power control and crosstalk cancellation for multiuser digital subscriber line (DSL) systems with heavily unbalanced crosstalk channels. This algorithm combines two approaches: crosstalk cancellation and crosstalk suppression to combat crosstalk degradation effects. Our algorithm performs crosstalk cancellation on the selected tones before power control through spectrum management center (SMC) which considerably improves DSL upstream data rate with affordable run time complexity.
