Abstract
Rural architecture energy-saving is one of the most important branches in the field of building energy-saving. Central China area belongs to the hot summer and cold winter zone in the view of thermal design in China and there are many problems in the aspect of rural architecture energy-saving. Focusing on these problems, by analyzing the main characteristics of the application of rural architecture energy saving technology in Central China, this paper carries out an empirical study on the energy-saving technology integration with two buildings in the rural area in Hubei province, which is from different aspects of planning and design, materials, enclosure structure, renewable energy utilization, and etc. And also, the paper makes a comprehensive evaluation on both the economic and environmental benefits.
