Abstract :
The present study was undertaken in order to obtain a better understanding of cold plasma activity on a polymer surface. The experimental modeling indicates a high pressure glow discharge in helium as the gaseous phase and hexatriacontane as the solid phase. Surface-charge decay measurement is the method of characterization used to evaluate the plasma activity; it reveals the injection of positive and negative charges into the target. Neutralization seems to have a dominant effect on the positive charge trapped near the surface and from the charge decay measurements the treatment likely favors the limitation of the leakage of positive or negative charges
