Abstract :
Sensors with multiple crystal oscillators are effectively used for highly functional and highly sensitive chemical sensors which identify unknown or target materials in gases and liquids. This paper presents results of basic study for applying rubber materials on the sensor and a simple way for preparing crystals with various natures of sensing films. Experimental results showed that the devices with these chemical interface materials have different selectivity for various kinds of gasses and that the selectivity is controlled by bonding reactive materials on the surface of the film
