Abstract :
This paper proposes a classification of visemes of the Modern, Classical Arabic (MCA) language and establishes its phoneme-viseme mapping. The study is based on the analysis of geometrical features of the face extracted from the front lip movement of four speakers pronouncing predefined sequences of words which have been recorded in a controlled environment.
