Abstract :
This paper presents an application of fuzzy logic for the stabilization and control of an electric AC power system. A fuzzy stabilizer loop is used to control a phase-shift transformer that provides both magnitude and phase angle change through thyristor commutation. The authors present simulation results in comparative terms between a traditional stabilizer and this fuzzy stabilizer
