Abstract :
In this paper, based on the quasi-static experiments of two pieces of 1-span, 2-floor concrete-filled rectangular steel tubular (CFRST) frame models, the parameter was the steel ratio of the column section, the hysteretic curves, ductility, strength and stiffness degradation, energy dissipation capability and failure characteristics of this kind of frame were researched; furthermore, the effect of column section\´s steel ratio on the mechanical behavior of the CFRST frame were analyzed. The result indicates that the CFRST frame shows "beam hinged" collapse mechanism, and has high load-carrying capacity, plumper hysteretic loops, excellent deformation capacity and stable later bearing capacity, this can preliminary judge that the CFRST frame has good mechanical behavior and seismic capacity, there is the value to further research and popularization.
