Abstract :
Compared with the fault tolerant control for switched reluctance variable speed motor drive. The indexes that are defined for quantitative analysis of the fault tolerant control for switched reluctance variable speed generator system were introduced, such as the capacity of the output, the relative increment of the phase current peak value, the relative increment of the phase current root-mean square value and the relative ripple increment of the output voltage. The component parts of the switched reluctance variable speed generator system based on the essential conditions for the fault tolerant control were described, such as the structure of the generator, the main circuit topology of the exciting converter. The voltage equation, the power equation, the analysis of the fault tolerant control and the scheme with the output power closed-loop and the output voltage closed-loop by increasing the excited voltage of the normal phases were presented. The experimental tested results of the prototype with the fault tolerant control under the lacking one phase condition were given.
