Abstract :
According to the special working environment and structural characteristics of the marine drilling platform, the basic construction and structure form of electric control system of offshore drilling rigs are given, and taking the 70DBF electric rig as an example, the design of the power control system and driving control system are also given. Finally, in view of some technical problems existing in the process of offshore drilling operations, such as the low degree of automation in drilling process, lacking of the prediction and control for soft torque, without the soft pump control technology and the active heave compensation technology relying on importing, several key technologies are deeply discussed in this paper, such as auto-drilling, soft torque control, soft pump control, harmonic suppression and active heave compensation.
