Abstract :
Indoor air pollution is causing increasing widespread attention in university now. The main source of indoor air pollutants in university was analyzed. Students´ cognition of indoor air pollution and its health hazards were studied, in order to improve students´ awareness of prevention and provide the basis for development of protective measures. Let 1498 students write self-administered questionnaire in university in Shenyang. The results show that: 92.5% of students know the indoor air pollution and understand the common indoor pollutants in a certain, but no sufficient attention to indoor air pollution. It is only 44.8% of the students who know must take steps to control indoor air pollution now. It is 68.2% of students who think of the best method to tackle indoor air pollution is ventilation. Finally, a few suggestions are proposed on prevention and control of indoor air pollution in university.
