Abstract :
China is one of the heavy disaster areas of acid rain in the world. Massive concrete structures in civil engineering are directly exposed to the acid rain, and subjected to acid rain corrosion. The performance of fly ash concrete attacked by acid rain should be investigated, which is significant to ensure the durability of modern concrete structures. Based on the test on corrosion of the acid rain for the fly ash concrete, the properties of fly ash concrete attacked by acid rain were studied. Parameters such as surface condition, mass and cube compressive strength of concrete were used to evaluate the acid rain resistance of fly ash concrete. Then, the degree of the different influencing factors on the evaluating index was analyzed. The acid rain attack not only made concrete surface desquamate, aggregates denudate, but also made concrete mass decrease and compressive strength reduce.
